Dr. Sadri was born in Tabriz, the Northern Province capital of Azarbaijan. In 1985, Dr. Sadri and her husband moved to Pennsylvania in order for him to achieve his doctorate in engineering. In 1986, Dr. Sadri gave birth to their daughter, Elika, who is now a dedicated violinist. From 1991 until 1999 she practiced general dentistry in the Philadelphia area where she received her certification in Implantology and was a faculty member at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine from 1994 until 1999. During her employment at the university, she received the Certificate of Appreciation for Excellence in Teaching for her extraordinary accomplishments as an instructor. In 1999, she and her family relocated to Johns Creek, GA and she joined the DentFirst team in July 2000.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and her other interests include traveling, reading books, hiking, and listening to Persian and Western music. She has traveled to most European countries. She is fluent in English, Turkish (Azari), and Farsi.

Dr. Salazar was born in Lima, Peru, but moved to Dundee, Scotland shortly thereafter. When he was 5 years old, he and his family moved back to Peru. Dr. Salazar was then enrolled into a British School called Markham College. After graduating from high school, he attended Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University where he earned his Bachelorâ€™s Degree in Stomatology and Dental Surgery in 1998 and has been practicing privately since. In 2003, Dr. Salazar had the opportunity to work for Dr. Greg Vigoren in Southern California for a few months learning how to build a successful practice. In March 2010, Dr. Salazar moved to Atlanta and worked as a Dental Assistant while applying to universities in the United States. He was accepted into the International Student Program of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver in June 2011 and graduated in December 2013. In his spare time, Dr. Salazar enjoys playing sports such as tennis, volleyball, soccer and basketball. He and his wife, Geraldine, are expecting their first child in late September! Dr. Salazar also enjoys watching movies, traveling and relaxing at the beach. While he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Salazar has a special interest in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Salyer, his wife Sherry, and their children, currently live in Duluth. While attending the University of Richmond, he met Sherry and became a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Dr. Salyer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Virginia. Currently, Dr. Salyer is a member of The American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association and The American Association of Orthodontists. During his leisure time he enjoys playing tennis, in which he and his wife compete at mixed doubles for ALTA and USTA. He also enjoys golfing, and surfing the net. Dr. Salyer and his family also like to travel and have visited Amsterdam, Paris and Prague. Future excursion plans include Africa and Australia.

Dr. Sandvi was born and raised in Dalton, Georgia. He was a Dean’s List student at the University of Georgia, and in dental school, volunteered his time in a program bringing dentistry to pre-school children. After graduating from Tufts Dental School, Dr. Sandvi continued his dental training in a year-long advanced residency program treating Native Americans on the Navajo reservation in Winslow, Arizona. In his spare time, Chris enjoys cooking, hiking, running, golfing, fresh-water bass fishing, tennis, snow skiing, and NASCAR racing (ask him about his favorite driver). He is also a huge UGA football fan!
Dr. Sandvi is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, a member of the American Dental Association, and loves all of the aspects and challenges of restorative and surgical dentistry.

Dr. Musicer-Sandvi was born and grew up in Tucker and Johns Creek, Georgia. At the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Wendy worked at the University of Michigan Hospital, both in the Pediatric Cardiology unit, and at the Oral and Maxillofacial clinic where she helped create advanced prosthetic devices for surgically compromised patients. While at Tufts Dental School in Boston, she was selected as a clinical teaching assistant to help other students, took a leadership role in the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and was a volunteer for the Special Olympics program. After graduation, Dr. Musicer-Sandvi continued her dental training in a year-long advanced residency program in Winslow, Arizona where she treated Native Americans on the Navajo reservation. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking / baking, hiking, running, tennis, NASCAR races, and snow skiing. Dr. Musicer-Sandvi loves helping her patients smile with new advances in cosmetic dentistry and enjoys all the aspects and challenges of restorative dentistry.

Dr. Sarembock was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, grew up in southern California, and then moved to Atlanta where he went on to complete his undergraduate studies in Athens at the University of Georgia. After working as an oral surgery assistant for a year in Atlanta he then went to New York University for dental school. After dental school he completed a hospital-based general practice residency program in the Bronx for additional expertise. He currently resides in the Atlanta area and enjoys playing golf and tennis, going snowboarding, traveling, reading, and watching movies. He is interested in all aspects of dentistry from surgery to cosmetics. He practices at the Lenox, Sandy Springs and Johns Creek DentFirst locations.

Dr. Shearin was born in Manassas, Virginia and grew up in Virginia Beach. In college, he was part of a research project team in the molecular-biology department studying bacteria modification. Every year he was a Dean’s List student for his academic excellence. Following his graduation from Dental School, Dr. Shearin continued his training in a one-year residency program at the Veteran’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. Currently, he lives in the Grant Park area of Atlanta and in his spare time, enjoys cooking (he claims to be the grill king), traveling the Caribbean and South America, winning trivia contests, going to the movies, and reading a wide variety of non-fiction books (ask him about his current book). Dr. Shearin enjoys all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and is a member of the National Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Shefrin was born in Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in Orlando, Florida. She was a Dean’s List student and a member of Florida Scholars in college. In addition to doing research in the University of Florida microbiology laboratory, she worked at Disney World where you might have seen her in costume as either Chip, Dale, Roger Rabbit, or Gonzo! After dental school, Dr. Shefrin continued her education with a one-year General Practice Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, followed by a one year fellowship in Endodontics at the University Of Florida School Of Dentistry, and then a further year of Endodontic study back in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She now lives in Cumming with her husband and their children Abby and Seth. In her spare time, she enjoys vegetable gardening, Mediterranean cooking, and various home craft. Dr. Shefrin is active as an officer in the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and Northern District Dental Society. She particularly enjoys the challenges of endodontics and cosmetic dentistry and loves helping improve her patients’ smiles and lives.

Dr. Soltis came to the United States for a vacation over 14 years ago and decided to make it his home. He enrolled in undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts where he majored in Bio-Technology. After graduating from dental school in Boston, Dr. Soltis served in the U.S. Air Force practicing dentistry at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.; Aviano Air Base in the Italian Alps; and F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. While in the Air Force, he developed advanced surgical, endodontic, and restorative dental skills.
Upon leaving Cheyenne, Jozef and his wife, Laura, chose to settle in the Atlanta area with their two daughters, Sofia and Olivia, and their Golden Retriever, Dante. Dr. Soltis loves the outdoors! When he isn’t treating patients at DentFirst you might find him playing tennis, hiking, cycling, or mountain biking. Besides English, he can converse with you in his native Czech, Italian, as well as most of the Slavic languages!

Dr. James “Jimmy” Talbot was born in Tate, Georgia and grew up in both Cobb and Ellijay. He attended Undergraduate school at the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology in 1981. Following the completion of his degree, he attended Dental School at Northwestern University and graduated in 1986. Dr. Talbot has three sons, all musicians. George is 26 and getting his doctorate in music at the University of Hong Kong. Austin, 22, is at Berry College and majoring in voice and low brass. Nathan, 20, is also at Berry majoring in percussion. Dr. Talbot enjoys gardening, golf and being involved in community activities. Faith is important to Dr. Talbot and he has served several positions within his church. He also served two terms on the Gilmer County Board of Education.
Dr. Talbot is trained in oral sedation and has extensive training in endodontics. He is extremely passionate about General Dentistry because he is able to provide a wide range of treatment and services to his patients. Whether it is a single tooth filling or full-mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Talbot loves being able to walk his patients through their treatment so they understand what is happening and how it will help.
