Dr. Davis is a native of Georgia but is well traveled having come from a military family. She graduated with honors from high school and received an undergraduate degree in Allied Health before pursuing a Master’s & a Doctorate degree. During her tenure at Georgia Regents University, Dr. Davis served as SNDA vice president, student curriculum committee representative, as the OMFS interest group treasurer as well as being inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, spending time with family, shopping, gardening, interior decorating, and traveling. Dr. Davis also enjoys all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery including surgical extractions, IV sedations, dental implants, complex bone grafting, and Botox (TMD, Migraine headaches, & Cosmetic). Dr. Bryan Seth Debowsky, DDS

Dr. Debowsky was born and grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended both Undergraduate and Dental School in a special Combined Degree program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Upon graduation, Dr. Debowsky served in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps for five years, during which he completed a one year Advanced Education Program for General Dentistry. While on active duty, Dr. Debowsky was stationed at Andrews/Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C., Incirlik Air Force Base in Turkey, and finally at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina.
During his Air Force career, Dr. Debowsky was able to develop a wide range of surgical, endodontic, and special restorative Dental skills. After leaving Charleston, Bryan chose to settle in Tucker with his wife Michelle, their young son and daughter, and a hound dog named Rosie. Dr. Debowsky is an avid soccer player (ask him about his Air Force soccer experiences) and enjoys playing and following many sports as well as traveling. He has also recently added Amateur Radio to his list of hobbies!Dr. Debowsky joined the DentFirst family in 2005 and patients can visit him at our Johns Creek, McDonough, Stonecrest, and Norcross locations.
Dr. Bruce Hays, DMD

Dr. Hays, his wife Marie, and two of their younger children live in Fayetteville, Georgia. Born in Atlanta, he attended Woodward Academy (Georgia Military Academy) where his parents taught in the music and business departments. At Georgia State, he was an award winning Organic Chemistry student before deciding on a career in dentistry. In addition to spending time with his family and new grandchild, he enjoys weight lifting, golfing, running, reading novels, and traveling to any beach. Dr. Hays particularly likes crown-and-bridge restorative dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and Northern District Dental Society.
Dr. Hays joined DentFirst in 1985 and enjoys treating patients in our McDonough office.
Dr. Karen S. Horace, DDS

Dr. Horace was born and raised in the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. At age 14, Karen moved to Lakewood, New Jersey. Dr. Horace attended Howard University for her undergraduate degree and for dental school. After graduating dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. From there, she completed her specialty training in periodontics at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She enjoys involving her patients in their periodontal care, and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. Dr. Horace lives in the city of Decatur with her husband, Donald, and their two daughters. When she’s not practicing dentistry, she enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school and being a Girl Scout troop leader. Ask her about her adventures in scouting sometime!

Dr. Cheryl McMahon-Lee, DDS

Dr. McMahon-Lee was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica W.I. She migrated with her family to the USA at the age of 15. She was a Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society member and graduated Magna Cum Laude from college.
Dr. McMahon-Lee has two children, Ryan and Marie, and lives in Locust Grove. Her hobbies include reading, gardening and watching sports – especially track and field. Dr. McMahon-Lee is a member of the American Dental Association. Patients can visit Dr. McMahon-Lee at the DentFirst Perimeter and McDonough locations.
Dr. David O. Lofters, DDS

Dr. Lofters was born and grew up in Toronto, Canada. David loved sports, and in high school played varsity basketball, ice hockey, baseball and volleyball! He worked as a barber while attending Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama, but always achieved a position on the school’s Dean’s List as well as adding his name to the National Dean’s List. While attending Dental School at Howard University, Dr. Lofters was awarded membership in OKU, the National Dental Honor Society, a position reserved for only a few outstanding students. David has two teenage sons, and he and his wife now live in Marietta. In his spare time, he enjoys playing classical piano, golf, and basketball, as well as being creative with both acrylic painting and pencil drawing! Dr. Lofters is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society.

Dr. Henry Masek, DDS

Dr. Masek was born in New York City, grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army Hospital, Fort Hood and Vietnam. Currently he resides in Duluth with his wife Victoria and two children Melina and Nick. Dr. Masek is an excellent auto mechanic, enjoys racing and restoring cars. He also enjoys playing chess, reading, photography, boating on Lake Lanier and music. He is an accomplished artist specializing in charcoal and pen-and-ink drawing. He became a part of the DentFirst team in 1985.

Dr. Frank Maybusher, DMD

Dr. Maybusher was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, but later moved to Tampa, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics in 1999 from the University of South Florida. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Louisville for dental school where he graduated in 2005.
Dr. Maybusher is married to his wife, Regina, and together they have two sons, Isaac and Aeon. When he isn’t treating patients, he also enjoys spending time with his family and their dog Nina, hiking, camping, reading and traveling.
Dr. Maybusher has a diverse background in education and has enjoyed experiences from software engineering to building a radio telescope. He also likes to take continuing education courses to help him keep up with cutting edge dentistry. He is certified in Invisalign and Lumineers, as well. Dr. Maybusher joined DentFirst in August of 2014. Patients can visit Dr. Maybusher at the DentFirst Duluth office.
Dr. Liliana Mejia, DDS

Dr. Mejia was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and of course she speaks Spanish fluently! She currently lives in Henry Country with her husband, Dean. Dr. Mejia is an avid reader, particularly interested in history and mythology, and enjoys spending time with her dogs, cycling, kayaking, and hiking. Dr. Mejia is a member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists as well as the American Academy of Orthodontics, and joined DentFirst in 1989.

Dr. Richard Musicer, DDS

Dr. Musicer was born and grew up in Los Angeles. Following graduation from Dental school, he elected to stay in Georgia and start a family. He has two daughters, two sons, and four grandchildren. In addition to teaching Oral Medicine at the Emory University School of Dentistry, Dr. Musicer began his own Dental practice in Atlanta in 1977, and then founded Family Dental Health Centers in 1979. This multi-specialty group practice became DentFirst in 1982. Richard’s primary hobby is Amateur Radio– he was first licensed at age 12 in 1963 and has been an active ham radio operator ever since. Through his station N6CR, “Rick” has friends around the world in over 335 different countries–he has contacted every geographical country on earth! Dr. Musicer also greatly enjoys traveling and has visited over 60 countries on every continent. He enjoys boating on Lake Lanier (he has taught Marine Electronics courses for the U.S. Power Squadron) and photography. You can see some of his favorite pictures decorating the walls of many DentFirst offices.
