Lisa Kimmel

Lisa grew up in a small New England town in western Massachusetts. She always loved the outdoors. She spent her winters skating at local ponds and skiing in the Berkshire Mountains. During the summer months, Lisa enjoyed beach life – swimming in the Atlantic and lifeguarding at local pools.

Lisa graduated from University of Bridgeport with Cum Laude honors. In her freshman year she was Vice President of her class. Lisa is licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in 4 states – MA, PA, EL, and GA.

After graduating, Lisa went to work for a Periodontal practice in Pennsylvania. It was in this practice that she truly learned her love for patient care. There is a gratification in seeing the “before” and the “after” of the clients she treated.

From Pennsylvania, Lisa moved to St Petersburg, FL where she once again gravitated towards working in a periodontal practice.

Lisa is now going on her 29th year at Dent1st. She currently works in 2 locations, Duluth and her main office in Cumming where she is the lead hygienist. She truly loves working with all patients!

Lisa has 2 sons. Adam, her oldest, just got married in June and is a Teaching Fellow of Environmental Law at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Garrett, her youngest son, is an Assistant Principal at Taylor Road Middle School in Johns Creek, GA.

When not working, Lisa loves to travel. She has been to England, Spain, North Africa, Hawaii, Alaska and all throughout the US. Her happy place is anywhere with the sun in her face and her toes in the sand!
