Dr. Chong was born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended Oregon State University, where he earned his Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 1999. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University in 2005, followed by advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Temple, which he completed in 2008.

Dr. Chong has extensive expertise in periodontal care and dental implants and is certified in IV sedation and Botox. He also served on the AEGD faculty at Temple University from 2010 to 2013, further contributing to the education and training of future dentists. He holds diplomate status in Periodontics and Implantology, reflecting his commitment to excellence in his field.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chong enjoys spending time with his wife and their young son. He is also an avid soccer player and enjoys playing goalie whenever he has the chance.
