Dr. Baek graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Dental in Buffalo and went on to complete his periodontal specialty training at Columbia University, where he developed advanced expertise in dental implants and comprehensive periodontal care. His commitment to excellence allows him to provide patients with high-level, specialized treatment focused on long-term oral health.

Born in Brooklyn to Korean parents, Dr. Baek spent part of his upbringing in Argentina, giving him a unique cultural perspective. He completed his General Practice Residency at Bernardino Rivadavia Hospital in Argentina before continuing his education in both Buffalo and New York City. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Korean, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients.

Dr. Baek now calls Atlanta, Georgia home, where he lives with his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Emily. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing golf and soccer, reading, and spending time outdoors—especially relaxing by the water while fishing.

He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
