Dr. Lawrence S. Tesser, DDS

Dr. Tesser was born in New York City and raised in Long Island, New York in the Five Towns areas. He attended Brandeis University where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Sociology in 1975. Following the completion of this degree, he attended Georgetown School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1978. Dr. Tesser and his wife, Diane, who is a retired dental hygienist, have been married for 35 years. They have two children, Meredith and Joshua, and one granddaughter, Eliana. When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Tesser enjoys spending time with his 1-year-old granddaughter, watching sports, learning about American Civil War History and traveling with his family. His family’s favorite destinations are Spain, Italy and France.

Dr. Tesser received his Periodontal training at Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. From 1988-2008, he ran the Periodontal Department at Beth Israel Hospital in New York.  Dr. Tesser and his wife have a 12-year-old lab named Sadie. Mrs. Tesser is passionate about fitness and exercise and enjoys long walks with Sadie! Dr. Tesser joined DentFirst Dental Care in 2017 and patients can visit him at the DentFirst McDonough, Jonesboro, Smyrna, Norcross and Kennesaw locations.
