Before making dentistry his chosen profession, Dr. Taylor moved from his hometown of Orlando,
Florida to finish school near his grandmother in Fort Valley, Georgia. He received his Bachelor
of Science degree in Zoology from Fort Valley State University after which he was accepted to
both medical and dental school. By choosing dentistry, Dr. Taylor was able to accomplish
two of the most important things to him: treating patients and spending time with his family.
After graduating from the Medical College of Georgia, he started his practice in Warner Robins
where he provided dental treatment for over nine years.
In 1995, the Taylors relocated to
Atlanta. Dr. Taylor is an active member of the National Dental Association, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,
and donates his time providing dental care on missionary trips to the mountains of Jamaica.
He works in the dental clinic and tours outward to reach patients in remote areas. In his spare
time he enjoys traveling with his family, wife, Tina, who is a pediatric nurse practitioner, daughter,
Imani, and son, Khari. Dr. Taylor joined DENTFIRST in June of 2003 and treats patients in the
Norcross and Duluth offices.
