Dr. Piede was born in New York City and raised in Atlanta. He attended St. Pius X High School, played Pony League Baseball in Chamblee,
was editor of the newspaper and served as President of the National Honor Society of Georgia. He then attended Emory University where he was a
Dean Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa nominee.
Following his completion of Dental School he joined the United States Public Health Service, first as a resident in Staten Island, New York, and then
served on the hospital staff in Galveston, Texas. He returned to Atlanta in 1978, and practiced in the Decatur area for 15 years before joining
DENTFIRST. Dr. Piede lives in the Dunwoody area with his wife, Irene, and their two sons John and Tony.
Bob enjoys his green thumb working in his garden -- growing both vegetables and flowers (ask him about his snapdragons and mums!).
Home repair projects keep him busy, but he also find time to collect stamps, coins, knives and canes!
Dr. Piede enjoys all aspects of Family Dental Practice and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association
and the Northern District Dental Society
