Dr. Maria Kwak Myung Dental School: University of Southern California School of Dentistry 2009/D.D.S. Undergraduate School: Universidad Nacional de Asuncion 1999/D.D.S.

Dr. Myung was born and raised in Asuncion, Paraguay. She then lived for five years in Korea before returning to Paraguay to attend college and study dentistry. After completing her South American dental training, Dr. Myung continued her education in the field of Public Health as well as starting her dental career. This was cut short by her marriage and relocation to Atlanta in 2001, where she worked for five years as a dental assistant. Dr. Myung then moved to Los Angeles to complete her American dental training. Maria now lives in Suwanee with her husband and two young daughters, and enjoys family time when not in the office. She also loves crying at romantic movies, tennis, swimming, and getting ready for marathon running. Dr. Myung loves all aspects of dentistry including implantology, endodontics, surgery, and making cosmetic improvements to her patients' smiles. She is of course fluent in Korean and Spanish, and patients can visit her at our DentFirst Duluth and Norcross locations.
