Dr. Mejia was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia -- and of course speaks Spanish fluently! She currently lives in Dunwoody with her husband, Dean. Dr. Mejia is an avid reader, particularly interested in history and mythology, and enjoys spending time with her dog, Sparky.

Dr. Mejia is a member of the Southern Association of Orthodontists as well as the American Academy of Orthodontics, and joined DENTFIRST in 1989.
