Husain Kahn, MD, DDS Medical School: Tufts University of Miami/1999 MD Undergraduate School: University of Kentucky/1995/BS

Dr. Khan is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Khan graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1995. He then completed Medical School at the University of Miami followed by additional training in General and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His primary focus during his later residency years were in the areas of general plastic and facial plastic surgery.

In 2002, he joined a private practice in Atlanta, GA and from 2007 to 2009, Dr. Khan was a part of the initial team that launched the surgical services at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital in Dubai. He continues to have an international following. In 2011, Dr. Khan decided that he wanted to further expand his Cosmetic Surgery training. He was fortunate to be accepted into an accredited fellowship program by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery directed by Dr. Angela Cuzalina; former President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

During his fellowship, he completed over 1300 major surgical cases and well over 500 minor and non-surgical cases. Dr. Khan has chaired several international meetings and has lectured internationally on various topics on cosmetic surgery, rhinoplasty, face and brow lifting, breast augmentation with simultaneous lifting, abdominoplasty and liposuction, and gluteal augmentation and fat grafting. He has co-edited two textbooks in surgery, published several book chapters on cosmetic surgery, and has been a presenter in live surgery workshops. He has formed an alliance with Aesthetics International in Dubai, which has given his patients an international location where they can seek his surgical care abroad.

Dr. Khan joined DentFirst in 2012. He is married to Farnaz Shirazi and they have a 6 year old daughter, Layla. Dr. Kahn’s outside passions include painting, drawing and design, fitness, and nutrition.

Dr. Khan sees patients at the Norcross, Perimeter, Smyrna, Duluth, Kennesaw, Johns Creek, and Buford DentFirst offices.
