Dr. Gwyn was born and raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. In college, Michelle was active in a marine biology research project on jellyfish, as well as serving as editor of the University's magazine. Before starting her career in dentistry, Dr. Gwyn received her Master's degree in education and taught chemistry, earth science and biology in Marion and Cedar Rapids, Iowa middle and high schools. Michelle currently lives in McDonough with her husband, Lawrence, an English teacher at Stockbridge Middle School, and in her spare time enjoys Pilates, reading, pencil sketch art, and -- roller coasters!! Ask her which rides are the scariest! Dr. Gwyn loves the variety of all aspects of General Family Dentistry including treating children, and helping her patients to have great smiles!
