Gillian Jones, DDS Howard University 2006 / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dental School: Howard University 2001 / D.D.S. Undergraduate School: University of Miami 1994/B.Sc. Chemistry

Dr. Jones was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica and attended a private girls High School in Kingston, Jamaica where she was an Honors Student. Gillian (pronounced with a hard "G") also worked with her father in his Pharmacy and this is where she decided on a career as a Surgeon. She was a member of the National Dean's List while at the University of Miami, a Dean's List student at Howard University and engaged in research projects during her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical training. Dr. Jones completed her Oral Surgery and Anesthesiology rotations at Howard University Hospital, the Veteran's Administration Hospital, and Georgetown University Hospital all in Washington, D.C., as well as at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

She enjoys the challenges of unusual surgical cases and helping restore her patients with implant dentistry. Gillian now resides in Duluth, but has family all over the world including relatives in Canada, the Bahamas, and Jamaica, as well as a grandfather in England. She enjoys spending her spare time with her twin toddler daughters, reading romance novels, arts and crafts projects such as scrapbooking, crocheting, pencil drawing, and photography.

Dr. Jones is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and joined the DentFirst Dental Care family in 2006.
