Dr. Digney was born in Minot, North Dakota, and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana where he played on his high school soccer team. Taro (in Japanese his name means "Big Boy") speaks fluent Japanese in addition to his native English. In college he was involved with a research project studying monkeys in Central America, but decided that Dentistry presented a better future! Taro now lives in Stockbridge, and in his spare time enjoys marsh fishing for redfish and speckled trout, duck hunting, traveling, reading, automobile restoration (his current project is an 80's vintage Jeep CJ7), and of course following LSU football! Dr. Digney is excited by the variety of new techniques available in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
