Dara J Barron, DMD Dental School: Medical College of GA 1987/DMD Undergraduate School: Spelman College BS/1983 Prosthodontics: University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry 1996

Dr. Barron was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She spent some of her childhood years in New Orleans, LA. After graduating from Spelman College in 1983 with a Bachelors of Science degree, Dr. Barron relocated to Augusta, GA to pursue a Doctor of Medical Science and Masters degree at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Barron has treated paients in private and public practice and as the staff Prosthodontist at the Atlanta VAMC for 15+ years. She also taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Prosthodontic department at the Medical College of Georgia . Dr. Barron also has earned a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and Toxicology.

Dr. Barron joined DentFirst in 2011 and practices all phases of general dentistry specializing in Prosthodontics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Barron was has two wonderful sons; James II and David. In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, swimming, reading, painting, arts and volunteering. She loves to attend church regularly and is also a avid bird watcher.
